Building Your Student Group: A Leadership Workshop

Are you interested in starting a new Student Group at Harvard Griffin GSAS or learning how to manage and maintain an existing organization?

Join the Student Center for a workshop covering the essential steps and resources for student group leaders.

Topics will include:

• Preparing to create a new Student Group
• Review of policies and procedures
• Maintaining an active organization
• Reactivating an Inactive group
• Transitioning leadership and updating officers
• Opening a Harvard FCU account
• Changing Harvard FCU account signers
• Requesting group funding
• Requesting and managing an FAS Sponsored email account
• Using Engage
• Event best practices

This workshop is open to students interested in forming a new group, current student leaders, and students involved in leadership transitions. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the processes and resources available through the Student Center.

We encourage all interested students to attend and come prepared with any questions.
