While it's known that effective mentorship shapes careers, many faculty members ascend to mentoring roles without ever receiving formal training in the practice itself. This interactive workshop prepares emerging scholars to become intentional, skilled mentors who foster growth, equity, and well-being in their teams.

This session invites job market-ready grad students to explore healthy patterns of mentoring and to consciously reject harmful practices between advisor and advisee. Space is limited; advance registration is encouraged.

We want everyone to participate fully. If there is anything you need regarding the schedule, food, or space—including religious, dietary, or accessibility needs—to be comfortable and present, please email gsas_cce@fas.harvard.edu at least 24 hours before the event.
