Join the Student Center Orchestra at Harvard Griffin GSAS!

The Student Center Orchestra is welcoming new members to join for the fall semester!

The Student Center Orchestra is composed primarily of Harvard graduate students, staff, and post-docs from across the university and aims to create and maintain a focused and inclusive environment to enjoy the experience of music-making. We welcome musicians of diverse musical backgrounds and a wide range of levels into our community. Our fall concert will feature major works by Johannes Brahms, Felix Mendelssohn, and Richard Wagner.

If you would like to join the orchestra, please complete the following form to declare your interest. If you are a new member, you will also need to submit an audition through this other form. You will be required to record excerpts from our fall program and a solo piece of your choice. If you feel uncomfortable auditioning, please reach out an we will find an alternative.

We rehearse weekly on Tuesday evenings, beginning on Tuesday, September 15. Unless otherwise specified, all rehearsals take place in Paine Hall from 6:30-9pm. Our fall concert will take place on Saturday, December 5th at 2:00pm in Paine Hall.
